Default 1/2 of daystar lift

is it possible to use just the top portion of the spacer lift from daystar for a small lift. so that the spring would not need to be compressed and the lift would be small enough to not cause angle probloms? has anyone done this and how much lift would this give me?

I have that on my truck now and I have been happy with it. It firms up the ride a little bit but it is not bad. My inner CV's did leak a little bit after a while so I just repacked them and did the CV boot mod and everything had been great since them.

It gave me around 1 1/2" of lift...maybe a little less as advertised, but I didn't really measure.

Although I just bought a set of Bilstein 5100's that should be going on soon so I would be more than happy to sell you mine for a couple of bucks.

The spring still has to be compressed to install the longer bolts. Either one has to have the spring compressed.

oops, missed that part

If you aren't comfortable doing this part of the step find a garage that can do it and they shouldn't charge you too much and it shouldn't take very long either. Then you can take the assembled shock assembly and put it back in your truck yourself.
