Default Difference between Teamwest and Regular Swayaway?

Can anyone please tell me the difference between a Teamwest swayaway and a regular Swayaway (race runner) I have tried endless searching and can't seem to locate anything that describes the difference. If anyone has experience with either and perhaps the costs?

Thanks
-Mike

Look at the first 2 pics in my photo and compare it to the photo attached.

The Teamwest SAWS are longer and use heim joints on both ends. They can be mounted right side up or upside down. A top mount is fabbed in order to mount a heim type in the top mounting bucket. It is also necessary to install limit straps with the TW SAWS because they are longer.

There's a difference in price the TW cost about $890 shipped. It should include all the hardware and I think the limit straps.

The regular SAWS are about $650-$700.

You can contact Bill(TS Username=Teamwest) at 714-822-6038.

If you do order the TW SAWS be patient. Bill does this as a side job and can be real busy at times. However, he's great to work with.

I think the new TW coilovers have a 675# spring rate, which is much better for the Tundra. The new SAW's also have the 675# rate but you have to be careful when ordering from a supplier to not get the "older" version.

Bill really backs his products. I run the TW's and broke a coil spring a couple weeks ago and Bill shipped one out immediately to use until my "custom" coil springs arrive. You will have a hard time finding anyone else to give you that kind of great service.

Default New vs. Old SAWs

How can I tell the difference b/n the old and new SAWs? I have a credit with Performance Products, so I'd like to order my SAWs from them, but I'm afraid they only have the old ones! Anyone know how to tell them apart?

The Teamwest SAWS are not available at PP. You have to contact Bill.

Default New SAWS

The difference in the spring rate of the coils and the overall length of the coils. The NEW set up uses a 15inch 675lb/in spring rate. The old one has a 14 inch 650lb/in rate.

You got the Tundra 1st generation SAW - Generation II has a coil length of 15" and a 675# spring rate. Suggested retail is $55 per coil.

Yeah, I had to send the Gen I set to the coil graveyard in the garage. The ARB/winch combo is tooooooo hefty for them
