k. basically i wanna know how big of a lift i need to put on my stock 03 4x4 Trd Ltd Tundra so i can put either 33'' tires or 35''tires. and im not a hardcore offroader. i just ocasionally go out in the dunes and offroad or go out in the desert and offroad. i also go hunting every year and i wanna get more into camping again. do i reallly need a suspension lift or can i get away with buying a block body lift? Also i drive on the highway so i need to take highway comfort riding into consideration. thanks verry much if you have a good question for me
If you're on a budget and want a little additional performance offroad, check out Hugemoose's setup...Bilstein 5100s all around, and 33" tires. DeebsTundra has the same kit on his truck, it's second from the left in this picture...with the push bar.
The parts are available from Wheeler's Offroad, one of the site sponsors, for a little over 200$ for the front.
x2 on the bilstiens and wheelersoffroad. Or if you want to spend more money go for a set of Icon Coilovers up front, Great off road and still ride really nice on the highway.
now im looking at the blistein 5100, front and rear shocks, is that all i would need to put 33'' tires on my truck?
no, you will need aftermarket wheels or wheel spacers

Spend the money $900+ if you want a good lift or leveling kit. Go with a name brand, ICON, Tough---Country, PRO COMP, Skyjacker, Day Star, etc Don't buy a $150 kit because you'll pay for it later on.
Should of went with coilovers if you go to the desert with some aftermarket contol arms and some rear remote resi socks with deaver springs. then you could do more than putt around
