Default What's the best lift for an 08 Tundra

I just bought an 08 CrewMax 4x4, and I want to lift it enough to clear 33" tires. I've read about Truxxx, Revtek, and Toytec lifts. Which kind of lift is going to help retain the factory ride? Do the 20" tires and wheels take away from the ride as well? Thanks

Take a look at Old Man Emu as well... I wouldn't consider this going cheap and it looks good IMO with 33s. Check out my album for pics.

Great looking truck, limitedtundra. How firm is the ride over stock?

Thanks tundra_tx! The ride is excellent... I had a 2 week period (before the new tires and wheels) where the factory wheels and tires were still installed- I'd say the ride was much smoother and more controlled than the factory set up. The Dakar springs in the back made a huge difference IMO. The ride with the Nittos is a litttle rougher than the factory set up, but I think most of this is due to the more aggressive tread pattern of the tires. All said, I'd do it again in a second.
