Default debate on getting bilseins?!!?

I currently have a 3" spacer lift and a AAL for the rear. I want to change to the bilsteins coil over. At this time my truck rides even, but thinking if I convert to the bilsteins I would only get up to a 2" lift in the front and the rear which is lifted about 1.5" would be higher. Has anyone experienced this and if so what would my best options be? Would I have to change out the AAL's as well to even out with the front if I were to change out to the bilsteins coil over? Thanks

Yeah I was kinda wondering the same thing. I have been reading about the adjustable Bilsteins and went to a local off road shop to ask them their opinion and to get some pricing about them. And the answer I got after the two employees scratched their heads for a little bit was that it the Bilsteins only go to 2 inches of lift and they quoted me some crazy price. They sounded like they didn't know much about them and were not sure about the height adjustment of the Bilsteins...they were telling me this while the whole time there was a huge flyer/poster behind them that said they carry and install that brand on off road vehicles. I did not leave there to confident with them...I probably will not go back. So I have read that they do lift to 2 1/2 inches, do they settle much after driving on them?

Wheeler's Offroad and ToyTec both sell adjustable Bilsteins. I had a chance to look at ToyTec's stuff on Saturday, they've put together a good product.

Camburg and Icon also do a great job of putting together bolt-on packages specific to the truck.

There are others, those just happen to be opinionated recommentations.

You can also use the 5100 snap ring kit, talk to Wheeler's. 200$-ish, needs a spring compressor, that's about it...works great, inexpensive, uses stock coils.
