Default Just installed my 5100s...I like them

I just got my 5100s installed all the way around on my 07 DC LB. So far they are much much better than the stock shocks. My truck is now level. I'll take pictures tomorrow. I'm taken the truck to the desert this weekend so will test it off road.

So..... the all important question is what setting did you go with?

I also am trying to level my '03 AC. What length 5100 did you go with? part number? Is replacing the shock better than adding a spacer? THanks. bg

Can you elaborate as to what you mean by being "better" ?
Does it mean a more comfortable ride ? or tighter handling ? or softer ?

I just bought some haven't installed them yet..

I have a DC also; what setting did you use, did you have to put a block in the rear to get it level?

Just got my 5100's in mail today and wondering what setting you went with? Did you take measurements? Did you replace the tires or just the shocks? I'm going with new B F G's 285/65-18 with the front adj. 5100's and the allready installed air bags at the rear for my 07 dbl cab 4x4! I well take pictures and measurements and post after install! Anyone out there that has allready done this and can us some insight? Lets here it!!!

Got mine installed this morning. I love them. 05 DC 4X4 3rd setting with diff drop. Sits level. No more trampolining, not a harsh ride, slightly more firm than the "lexus" factory shocks, but it feels correct now- Just perfect IMO. Takes speed bumps without any issue or launching to anyone in the cab.

Got mine installed last week with the diff drop and new 285 Nitto Terra Grappler ATs. 3rd (middle) setting. No block or AAL in the rear, just the new shocks. Also noticed some grease immediately so I did the CV boot mod with the clamps. Ride is great but I mostly contribute that to the new tires (my old ones were shot).
