The old king setup has been out for a while. But this set up uses heim joints at both ends and has different springs/valving for our tundra's....

BLK00TRD,
All you needed to do was let me know that you were going to go with a different product NO PROBLEM but I have a problem with you becoming an overnight expert about shocks. Its sad that you would waste so much of my time and not even bother to let me know what your intentions were especially when you have never tried the TW's and now you are bashing everyone. Its a true sign of a young punk.

nevermind. whatever dont buy mine im sure teamwests is better. i dont want to deal with the people coming to me with problems and im just 16 tryin to get a deal. sorry bill i know your product is sweet, i have always liked king, but know your product is quality. I just went with some kings, asked them to valve them alsmost the same as the teamwests and put different springs on them, then put heim joints at both ends and a mounting plate.

When i say almost as teamwests on the valving, i just asked them to valve them for a tundra, I did not say a spacific number. (for clarification)

I have been watching this thread (and some others) from the start. It was obvious something was up. Now we know!

From teamwest:

"All you needed to do was let me know that you were going to go with a different product NO PROBLEM but I have a problem with you becoming an overnight expert about shocks."

I should have known with all of the questions that black00trd was asking that he was having a shock built at least he admits it now, shame on me for trying to help a fellow TS member out. From now on I will only answer general questions about the TW product. It only takes one to ruin it for the rest of you

Blk00TRD,

You must have a really well paying job for a 16yr old since you can buy Kings left and right, as well as all the IS Rims you want. Or Daddy could be dumping money into your pocket like a couple of other guys on this board. Take a couple of years off, grow up, then come back to the forums.

oh. i get it.

you found out exactly how bill has his shocks spec'd by pumping him for information, then had a set of kings spec'd the exact same way (ie now you have a tw-style king coilover) so your buddy didn't give you any crap about running stay-aways, now you're advertising the same product fom a different manufacturer, presumably through/for your buddy.

personally, at this point i'd say you'd better hope there isn't a patent on those "stay-aways", you'd also better hope bill cools off, you'd maybe want to bite your tongue a little, and you might want to learn how & why suspension works (i'll give ya a clue: you'll learn about them in college if you're an engineer) so you can back up your rather immodest claims about being "up-and-coming" on the suspension scene with something other than king's advertisement cut & paste from their website, information directly from bill (or so it sounds), and descriptions about how your buddy's shop is three generations old, or whatever. let's see some original product, not something that's been copied wholesale from the results of someone else's r&d process.

either you bought stock, or your buddy is trying to sell you a piece of the golden gate bridge, or you're a sophomore in high school (look it up).

i don't jump in much on things like this. for the most part i assume anyone who would put their money on a tundra would not talk this sort of trash (a general comment for this thread, btw).

end it here.

yea ok. I said sorry and admited to trying to make a quick buck, now I am over it. I do not know what the valving rate even is on the TW coilovers. I just called king direct and ordered a pair of kings and asked them to place heim joints on both sides, because I thought that was a good idea. Maybe you guys should do the same if you want kings, but I was putting together a kit for people.....sorry if that is a crime, i didnt steal anything. I asked them to put on some different springs and heim joints geez. Anyone can do that as king makes the shocks any way you want them. THis has nothing at all to do with my shop. My shop has to do with building trophy trucks and such and that was brought up because of the a arms they built, nothing to to with shocks. Sorry for the troubles.
