    Default Clunk in Front End

Sup guys, its been a while. Been lurking, just not posting.

Gonna be at the Lucerne 250, so Ill be looking for the SCT crew.

Im having an issue with my front end. Whenever I am turning I get a very distinctive "clunk". It sounds like bad balljoints (had a similiar sound on my ranger when the uppers went out on my 5.5" Fabtech lift.)

Just jacked up the truck tonight, no play in the lowers or TREs, everything seems tight under there, no play on vertical and horizontal plane when I move the tire back and forth.

    What else could it be?

    Rack?
    Sway Bar Links?
I have the TC poly utherane steering bushings as well.

How can I figure it out?

Any advise is appreciated, Id like to figure it out before I make the trip out there...dont want to have to deal with a midnight fix in the middle of BFE.

BTW Gen 1 Donahoes in the front with uniball uppers, stock rear, 4x4 V8

    Thanks!
04 Tundra, Hoes, Uni's, Spintech, 285s + other misc. bling items.

You might look for a broken sway bar link.

The exact reason I started searching the forum. I've been noticing the problem for last two weeks and have not been able to pin point where it's coming from but the info and suggestion on this post looks promising.
Looks like I have a bit of wrenching to do this weekend.

Tundra front axel noise, rattle, clunk...

check the front axel, I have the same noise and i got ahold of the front axel and moved it back and forth and recreated the same noise. Ive had the noise getting noticable louder for the last 2 yrs. Toyota never couold pin point the noise cuz i had aftermarket suspension, their exact remark was ehy didn't have to tool they needed to pinpoint the problem noise,
and they just blew me off. Now i now why they didn't want to repalce the axle.

Check on your steering rack bushings, the passenger side donut on mine would flex enough to fit a finger in between the bushing and the rack...it clunked on bumps and quick steering maneuvers....

there are some things you should know.
First off, you see gum on the street, leave it there. It isn't free candy.
Second, there are, like, thirty Ray's Pizzas. They all claim to be the original. But the real one's on 11th.
And if you see a sign that says "Peep Show", that doesn't mean that they're letting you look at the new toys before Christmas.
