Default Question regarding REMOVING Camburg UCA's on a 06 Tundra

Ok, so I'm about to sell the truck and pay off all my debts (yes, I own the truck) plus I'm looking forward to Toyota releasing the Diesel Tacoma next year (Hoping more like it) so with that said I wanted to remove my lift and go back to stock.

Here's where I'm running into trouble. The shop that can do the work tells me that when camburg UCA's are installed they may have enlarged the socket in the control arm. Meaning when I go to install the new upper ball joints they will not fit properly and may require welding and machine work to fit like stock.

    Can anyone confirm this?

Also, if you're in the San Diego, CA area, can you recommend a shop to go to?

ORW is OUT, they want nearly $900 to re-install the stock stuff.

The Camburg instruction manual is floating around on this website and the internet. I would read through it and see if it is true.

I don't think that shop is correct.......

    New Camburg UCA's

Why pay to have it converted back to stock? You think it'll sell for more without a lift?

Camburgs uni-ball adapter is the same size press fit as the stock balljoint. So its just like replacing a bj, wont distort the spindle.

When you get them off, do you want to sell the uca's? I might be interested if the $ is right.
