Default QA1 Proma Star externally adjustable coilovers

Proma Star® - Single and Double Adjustable Shocks on QA1 Precision Products, Inc.

-Twin-tube (no cavitation)
-External adjustment for compression/rebound
-Rebuildable/revalve-able
-AFFORDABLE

Talked to these guys today, and it sounds like DDR7855P would be the way to go for a 1st-gen Tundra for replacing the front coilovers. Their compressed length is shorter and their extended length is longer. That means a 2-2.5" lift could be achieved with less preload on the spring, and the damper wont bottom out before the bump stop. I imagine the ride would be VERY nice that way.

I've used twin-tube dampers on my MTB and my dirt bike before. Very unique and controlled ride. You don't really get that deep-stroke spring effect from the air chamber.

Any experience/thoughts/input/comments/insults?
