What size tires?

33's = 4.56 gears. the engine will be 50-100 rpm over stock

35's = 4.88 gears. the engine will be 100-150 rpms over stock

These gear ratios equate to approximatley stock ratio with stock tire sizes and have been found to usually be the best for performance and mpg.

im plannin ong 33's, do i get the gears changed befor or after i do the lift or at the same time?

I would do them before or after the tires, thats what makes the difference. The lift has nothing to do with it. I lifted my truck, then installed the tires and then regeared it.
If it is a 4x4 make sure to do front and rear together.

can i perchase the gears over the internet or is taht somthing that i have to get at the place that is performing the services?

you can do it either way, but here is where I buy my gears and recommend people from TS to get them. Call them and talk to them, they are helpful and know their stuff.

got 33/12.5/15 on an 84 yota pickup

gonna change to 31/10.5/15 because of rubbing until i can get it lifted more and all my other work to it
