3" toyteck kit opinions

is this a kit that i wont have any problems with? i wanna lift my 06 tundra 2wd crew cab to fit 33" trail grapplers with 20" wheels. will this kit let me accomplish this? i dont really have a lot of money to play with.

can i please get some opinions? i tried to use the search funtion i swear, but suck horribly at it. everybody has 33" in their sig and it brought up a bunch of junk.

That's a kool kit, but I have a 2006 model. Why everyone someone ask what kit for 33s no one says anything.

A full 33" tire usually requires a little trimming. But you can run a 285/75R16 with a 2.5" lift. Just a bit smaller than a full 33" tire.

I wanna fit a 305/55/20 trail grappler with a 3" toytec kit. Will this work?

It will be less expensive to get the 5100 kit for your stock springs, as opposed to the straight wound, linear rate coils on the 5100 offered in the ToyTec package. You almost certainly don't need the new springs, unless you're really pounding the hell out of your truck, or hauling a lot of weight that requires new front springs.

A 5100 kit only runs about 230 bucks or so, from Wheeler's.

Can I run the 295/55/20 instead of the 305

You can run the 305's... just need to put a slight bend in your skid plate and depending on the tire, you might have to mess with the forward wheel well plastics to be able to get full wheel lock. I have the Rev Tec lift and I had to do the above mods to get my tires not to rub. Not that big of a deal... took 20 mins. and have had no problems since.
