Default Can this be done??

Ive read that you can swap out the stock 4X2 springs and pop in the 4x4 trd springs and get a little lift out of it. well can you combine the 4x4 springs and the aftermarket spacers to get like 3 - 3.5 lift?

Just wondering

Nick

why not just get coilovers and crank them up to 3.5" instead of jerry rigging your front suspension. Much better perfromance would be a soft sale.

It can be done but, like TRDKEAU stated, why not just get coilovers. For around $650 you can get some SAWS(Sway Aways) that will provide better performance and handling with the adjustability factor. The other option is to get some Wheeler Off Road lift springs. Then you wouldn't need to use a spacer. In the option you stated or going with Wheeler springs, you'll also want to upgrade your shocks, if you have the standard black ones.

On a 2wd you'll get almost 3" lift by switching to Wheeler's coils.
