From time to time I drop in on this thread...really nice trucks, gents . I looked at maudib's page hoping for photos of the offset setup but all I found was BSG stuff . I got to see a tail-stander GTO today which had a similar setup (quite a bit more difference actually) and I suspect it looks really good on a street Tundra.

Deaver has a spring-under conversion right now for the desert trucks, they could probably do a bit of a mod to their spring pack and you'd get a lowering pack with a stock shackle, spring under, and load capacity to carry a motorcycle or whatever in the bed.

Also, I'll have a u-bolt flip kit available for sale some time this fall, take a look at aor4x4.com, it's a very high quality kit and the bump stop is less than half the height of the stock bump stop, so you'd bottom out less with the lowering kit.

good luck man... There are no air bag kits for the tundra, there is barely any lowering kits for it, and none that are 3/5. I am shooting to do 3-4/5-6" on my truck. I am just waiting for shocks before I can install. check the DIY lowering thread for more information.

I just purchassed a 2000 Tundra and really want to lower my truck but need to know where to begin. I was thinking about airbags and other things but I have no idea were to look or how much it's going to set me back. Anyone with some info would be greatly appreciated!

Sos is really the only game in town as far as i know.
I got a set of bilstiens with dropped perches and drop shackles from WC, and i think i am just as low. other than that there really nothing we can do because nobody ever made lowering knuckles. (to my knowlege). and since these trucks are out of production, dont count on any new development.

im like INCHES away from chopping the crap out of my stock coils and doing a flip with stock shackles. Anyone else care to partake?

this is my homegrown kit vs SOS. i think sos rides a lot better though.
