Tom (speedofsoundperformance) is almost done with the system. You can call him and find out about pricing. He is working on a 1" front drop for me as we speak.

All this talk about lowering trucks....how about the sequoia? I know Boone did his and I tried getting in touch with him a while back but lost contact with him, he seems to ignore me oddly enough....fact of the matter is, is there anything for the sequoia? I've been thinking about getting airbags and I talked to one of the performance shops here and he reccomended the shockwaves over the airbags from air ride technologies. I forgot which one but heres the link for it: http://www.airride.com/productinfo/shockwave.asp & http://www.airride.com/productinfo/shockwave79.asp. Heres the airbag kit I found online for the sequoias: http://www.truckin-connecticut.com/p...t.asp&ID=58487. I might put on some 22's 305/45/22, I really like the Cragar Blade wheels like the one he has on: http://www.cardomain.com/id/sequioa14me. They look really nice and the truck look would look sick if it was literally sitting on the wheels when in parked, and then at stock hieght when driving. I'd love to do that with my sequoia, just have to find a way. Hope I get some good input from you guys, thanks.

Do you have a 4x4? Anyhow, I'm excited to see how your truck turns out. I'm sure it will look sweet!

WD40
Yes mine is a 4x4. I know you are looking to go with the 18's and had allot of questions like I did. I put my 18's on over the week end and they are great,,,everything I was hoping for. If you want more details let me know and I can send you a PM. Should have pics up tomorrow. Bad thing is that I didn't keep the Modas, they looked better on my cousins Seq.

I know I'm not telling you anything new, but although I love the look and wouldn't go back to stock, lowering shackles will decrease your payload capacity before getting into the bump stops. Just a heads up for everyone.

Good point... can this issue be offset with Ride-Rite air helper springs and/or RAS helper springs?

In my case I'm trying to level my truck. The front end will drop with the heavier ARB bumper and I am thinking about dropping the back to match.

I think I remember someone posting that they solved the issue that way. And if I remember correctly since the helper springs were only engaged under load, it didn't negatively impact the everyday ride.

Default Custom 6/7 drop/ lowering

whats up guys! I just did a 6/7 drop on my truck. Its Fully custom with coilovers, springs, flip kit, shackles, and c-notch. Also lets not forget alot of cutting and welding. Truck ride a lil different due to drop. Its really not bad at all. Well I don't know much to say. but check out my pic and tell what you guys think. The pic i have below is a 5/7 drop. I have just change it a lil more to get the 1 more extra drop for the front. Also in the pic you see now I can stick in to my finger bettwen the tire and fender wells. I have to take a nice pic of me having it as a 6inc drop in the front and see that I can't even put 1 finger in it anymore. I'll update pic soon.
