WOW nice truck we got to meet I have to see your truck up close.
Are you gonna enter your truck at the Auto Jam. Because I am going.
bytheway I ENVY you
Just installed the Sir-Michael's Roll Pan today. I will post more pics soon.
Supercharged03,
It is not bagged. I got the kit from Billy Valko, the original droppedtundra. It is a TRD prototype 4/6 drop. I can run bags with it though, but that will be in the future.
Zach,
I am working out the kinks in the drop. Need a new alignment, adjust the rear brake system-a-jig (the rear brake load thingy), and adjust the driver side caliper. As for the show, I am going to cruise, then park it. Just want to go there to see what's up with other rides. I haven't really started on the interior.
I hear that there will be 6 domestics that were shipped in from the Mainland (Escalades and alike). Should turn out to be one of the most interesting AutoJams put on by HitRadio100. Likewise, sure we can meet. Just let me know when - maybe at the Jam?
Yeah we have to meet at the Auto Jam just sent you a PM with my cell # ok so just call me when you are the Jam or maybe friday night at Paseo if there is one ok later.
Chris,
Thanks man. Glad you like. It's only the beginning now . There was only a handful of participants at the AutoJam, nothing really new. I guess most of the vehicles that were getting ready for it sustained damages from the two SuperTyhoons that hit us a couple of months ago. Next Jam, I hope to be ready.
Hard to say. I bought the entire drop kit (modded spindels, eibach coils, and flip kit, 20k miles used) and 20" wheels (US Wheel Intense 6 polished aluminums, $500 each new) + tires (Michelin Pilot 245/40/20 XGT Z4s, $329 each new) for $2500.00. The entire thing was droppedtundra's set-up. All the mods combined, about $6k.
Next is the stereo upgrade and engine components upgrade also, which may take another few months to put together. This is a very addictive and costly hobby, but I love it .
We've lost some excellent information regarding available drop kits, plus the lowered trucks aren't as visible on the site as the lifted guys. Make some noise over here, in the mean time I will be collecting the lowering info I can still find in this forum.
If you're lowered, please state what kit, cost if possible, and tires+rims.
I've been e-mailing drop shops and nothing yet for the Tundras. I'm definitely interested in dropping my truck. I'm currently running 20x9 and the fender well and wheel gap is just aching to look at. Maybe if we can gather a few people in the TS community that want to lower thier trucks, then a known shop could make kits out for us. Just a thought.

Sean,
Thanks for starting this thread. I've been outta town at Bike Week in Daytona Beach and I'm leaving now for Spring Break. When I get back, I'll post more about mine. In the meantime Gilley's got a write-up on the drop shackle method in the garage, if I remember correctly.
