Default Lifted truck=New Jack?

Okay gang, I need some recommendations...My truck is lifted a few inches up front with a fabtech and now I am running 33 inch wheels. My little bottle jack that came with the Tundra gave way last week. I bought a nice Craftsman 6 ton bottle jack but it only went up to 13.5 inches--not enough to lift the rear axle off the ground at the lowest point. A floor jack would be nice to have at the house--but it is not portable and I need something that I can stow away. A Hi lift would be nice for the trails, but there is no way to hook it to a Tundra. Ideally I am looking for a bottle jack that can lift from about 10-18 inches....I think? Any ideas?

I was wondering what y'all are using if you need to change a spare of whatever?

Maybe one of the small (and very cheap) floor jacks from Pep Boys or AutoZone.
I've seen some that were tiny and would work fine in a pinch. I'd get one a little more heavy duty though if it was used on a regular basis. I had a friend of mine that lived in snow country and carried a little one with him all the time just for putting chains on. It worked great and cost about $35.00.

The easiest way to deal with this is to just lug around some 2x4's or 4x4's that you can stack up under the jack to increase its range.

Or get yourself a set of sliders and a hilift and its all good

Damn, I knew this was gonna cost me more $$$. I am moving this week too! I could get outta sight if it cost a quarter to go around the world! Hopefully in a few weeks...Where did you get your sliders from anyway? I can't for the life of me remember the name and website for the TTORA guy that sells them here in Norcal...

I found that one on google and those are indeed some nice jacks. I went to a few places yesterday and then found a Craftsman 6 ton bottle jack at OSH that fit the bill and it wound up costing me only around $15...Funny thing is--it was $6 cheaper than Sears...

It has a threaded saddle that allows you to raise the shaft about 3-4 inches before you start cranking. Works fine AND fits in the storage space under the rear seat of my Access Cab.

Thanks to everyone that read my post and helped out!

Careful with putting that jack in that storage area while on it's side. The hydraulic oil may start to leak and then you'll have a mess and may not be able to use it when you need it.

i have a set of sliders from AJ @ bentup. i have used them to hold the weight of the truck when i installed my lift. i lost my original jack in a mud pit that must have went to the center of earth. i dont want to carry a highlift everywhere i go... so i guess ill just keep the AAA road service up to date.

anyhow.. the sliders/highlift is a great way to go just as TMS2U said.

reminds me... i still have to get my sliders painted.
