I just got off the phone with the guy thats actually designing this 1" body lift. He informs me that he has a few bugs to work out and then they should be ready for sale. Daystar is right here in Phoenix, AZ.
I next asked him for his professional opinion on the projected release date and he estimated about a month and that this could change.
I also asked the estimated cost and he told me somewhere around $200. but didnt or couldnt yet give me a definate locked in number just yet.
Daystar does NOT sell direct to the public, With my connections with this design engineer there at Daystar I was able to secure permission from him & Daystar (we are friends) to use his account and password to order these kits when they become available. While we are waiting for these kits, I will have to also check with the site administrator before I can do this due to a possible conflict of interest of me being a staff member here and selling these kits. If he says no, then we will make other arrangements.
I told him to either call me or email me when he has them ready.
*Note to Imdone: This action was done to help our members get inforamtion more directly from the person whos actually building them there at Daystar and not through a series of people at Daystar. ( I felt that doing it this way would be faster) It is no way meant as any kind of way of "going around" you. Please take this in the spirit that its meant to be in.
In a related note, this guy was advertising a 1" body lift for the Tundra, but the last time I checked with him a while back it was still in preliminary stage. Regardless, there is lots of good info on 1" or mild body lifts and the advatages when combined with a suspension lift if someone was interested in reading some info to help them decide. Hope the link works.

I'm sure Imdone will appreciate it... I sure do! Thanks fyr145!

Dear god you own. Thanks a ton for doing this. And, I'm in if/when/how this works out. But, I still don't understand how you can use the front engine covers. I checked mine and there doesn't seem to be much slack.

If i did get permission from the boss, wouldnt it be nice to have a GB run and approved by someone you know, trust and can rely on ? !
Oh yes, IF I got permission, I would have to follow the GB Policy just like ya'll have to, this applies to me as well ya know.
Maybe let Imdone do it and I'll take care of the rest. This would seem to be a better process where each person knows what each other is doing during the entire process!!!
Opinions?
I gotta go PM the boss for a ruling on this unique situation.......wish me luck.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!! cause U-DA-MAN for all u do ,this BUD'S for U , the next one is for me

good news !
I have just received permission from the site administrator approving my position of authorizing a GB eventhough I could be the one selling the body lifts WHEN they come out.
Now its time to wait and see what Daystar does.
(I would like to still have Imdone work as a team on this project with me! )
I think both FYR145 and Imdone should get a big thank you for taking the ball and running with it in the interest of the entire group. Hopefully you guys can work together to see this effort through as a team. I know I am definitely interested in knowing more about the kit. I can see an AZ mod party in the future.

I was getting it from one of the engineers working on the kit named Clay. It was his truck that the kit was on when I saw it. If you can get better info though then more power to ya.
The ability to use the account at Daystar is definetly a big help and if you want me to help on this just let me know. If I hear anything new I will post.
