I talked to Clay today. He said that once he is done with the machine parts that he is working on he will be back on the Tundra. He said there are a couple glitches that need to be worked out before they can put it into production.
The guy that Lon spoke w/is the wrench for this kit. The guy I have been talking with is the brains for this design.
I told him about all the interest here at T/S and he is impressed. He said they will try to continue with the kit ASAP.
I'll post more later.

Got the mail from Clay today.
Email
"The Toyota Tundra 1" Body lift has been completed. It's looking like it will be 3 weeks out from today for me to get all production components of this kit. The Polyurethane portion of the kit comes in both black and red.
Order it: KT04510BK or KT04510RE."

Imdone,
Do you know if this new body lift will be compatible with the S&S header kit? I believe the problem with the 3" kit was the steering coupler. Do you know if they are addressing this or is the lift not enough to cause a problem?
Thanks in advance, Justin

With a 1" BL I think that there is enough room for the splines on the steering shaft to accomodate. It will be close tho

I haven't heard of any issue with any set of headers with this kit. I will ask Clay and see what he says. I can also take my truck in there to make sure, but I don't think there would be an issue as only the body is lifting and the engine is not attached to the body. It is the same as the suspension lift, you are not changing the engine position only the angle of the drive shafts.
I will check.

potential conflict is the size of the s&s bundle and a rag joint extension if there is one. i dont think any other header would have a potential conflict.

Just saw that the rear bumper will not lift with the body. Will this not look wierd having the bumper that low?

It didn't look that bad and you don't even notice that there is a gap until you really look.

I talked to Clay today, he said Operations has yet to order parts so there aren't any kits ready. I will be meeting up with him tomorrow and I'll get some more info and was planing on discussing a group buy to see if he thinks sales will go for it.
I'll post again tomorrow.

I talked to Clay today. He said there are NO kits ready at this time. They are in the process of ordering all the parts for the kits. He said there are a lot of special order parts/hardware that not even Copper State Nut and Bolt company carry.
He said he will let me know when the kits are ready and I'll post here.
