    Question Question about Lift

    HI ALL,
I am a new member bought my Tundra Oct 1999 from Millenium have
28,000 miles on it and recently installed the TUFF Country spacers...
the installation went very smoothly, and shortly thereafter I had grease
leak from both inner CV Boots, the boots are like new not cut etc & the
leak is from under the large band that clamps the boot...the clamps are
tight ( cant move them by hand ).
The lift levels the front very nicely with a full 2" lift ( I measured before &
after) and also improves the cornering...and the ride is not that much
    harder.
I put this post on the IATN network ( I am a ASE Certified Master Auto Tech
10 years ) ( currently working as a NYS reg Pharmacist) and got 3 replies
2 had the same experience and said not to worry, one stated the angle
was too severe and to do the Fabtech Lift.
I was wondering if any of you out there had a similar experience...I guess I
    am looking for reassurance...
I cleaned up the area & put a bead of black RTV on the leak area , so far
    it appears to have stopped.
I also did the Hellwig rear sway bar...very smooth installation and the vehicle
handling is greatly improved....I noticed on the 2004 Tundras the rear sway
    bar is standard.
Thanks in advance for your comments
    Tony
I SOLVED THE PROBLEM IN JUNE by cleaning out the old grease and pumping
in about 8 pumps of chassis grease ( the CV boot lubricant was too thin
& would leak) have gone over 4000 miles with no problem.
