I'm pretty sure we stopped doing that. It was a deal with Mickey Thompson wheels and tires, and I'm 99% sure it's no longer going on.
What's the latest news on the few kits you sent out for testing? Also, from what you know of the lift, what size rims, tires, and backspacing do you recommend for the access cab that won't cause rub or have little rub. I want to have the tires stick out atleast an inch or two from the body? What are your thoughts?

In general, I haven't heard anything yet.
As far as wheels and tires go, the recommended size will be a 315/75 (35x12.5) on a 16x8 inch rim with NO MORE than 4 in. backspacing. That's what on the trucks we have pictures of on the website, and my pictures on this site. Well, the tires on the grey truck are 33's, but the rims are the same, so you get the idea of how far they'd stick out. People I'm sure will put 35's on a 10 inch wide rim, and then of course the 18's and 20's, which I have no clue about. I'm sure once people start getting the kits, the word and pictures will get out real quick on what everyone's running. The backspacing is the critical thing as far as clearance with the knuckle and everything else.

could you try to get a pic of the truck with someone or some point of reference next too it. i am finding it difficult to see how much taller the truck actually is than stock.( i know it is 6 inches taller) but i would like, if you dont mind and have the time, for that pic. thanks

ps (this may have been answered already i could not find it though) will the truck still have a slight pitch forward like the stock one? if so can we intall a coil spacer or something to level it out?

For info,
I'm Running 315's on 16X8 wheels with 4" of backspacing. Wheels/tires fit absolutely perfect (in my opinion). They don't stick out, in fact, the tire tread edge is almost directly under the flare edge and no rub problems whatsoever. I've got about 6.5" of lift up front.

Definitly don't have that kind of cash to drop....
If you think about all the high quality 2.5" kits that are about 850, 2,300 is about right (maybe a little over) for dollars per inch....

I can't give out the price as it is not my place. Just contact ORW and Mike will tell you how much it is. It is better than the prices that have been posted even after shipping so it's worth the call. I will see mine next week.
Mine will be drop shipped right from RCD, As soon as I get it on I will post some pics on the forum.
I called 4 wheel parts wholesalers to see if any body kits have come down the line for the Double cabs yet and the sales guy said the tundra are the same suspension as the tacoma's???????? whats the deal ? and does anyone know of a body lift out for the DC?

First of all don't go to 4 wheel parts. To answer your question, the only one that has a body lift for a 2004 is the daystar 1" bodylift. I dont know if its out yet. Not sure why your posting this in the RCD lift thread though.
Why body lift??? I think there's several coilover lift kits out already. You can get more than an 1" of lift from it. You can go higher if yours is not a 4x4. As for 4Wheel Part's comment. The suspension is NOT the same, they're two different trucks and different weight. Perhaps the IFS design is the same but you cannot interchange the Tacoma and Tundra suspension. This has been discussed over and over and over......again.

I love Potatoheads that are supposed to be "assisting" the public.
This shouldn't be posted in the RCD thread but that is too funny.
