Default Steering wheel noise

Hello ,
I have a 2000 Tundra with 118,000 miles. I just started getting an annoying noise that sounds as if its coming from my steering wheel. It sounds like my old caddy when i used to crank the wheel all the way to one side it would sound like it was straining. It seems to happen when i accelerate . As soon as i let up on the gas it goes away until i accelerate again. I checked the power steering fluid and its ok. Any suggestions?? Could it be some sort of a vacum leak??

Thanks
