no shock will lift a vehicle... if you mess around with a shock (push down on it) when it's off the vehicle, you'll understand why.

Shocks soul purpose in life is to dampen spring movement.

My 2K SR5 went up about an inch with the 5100 blistien! I put them in about 11 months ago. I thought I was just imagining the height when I park it next to my wifes LX470. But a week ago, I park next to another 01 sr5 2wd like mine and my truck sits higher by almost an inch.

Maybe the 01 truck I park next to has the stock shock and they are shot. I know the stock shock I had was pretty useless at 48K when I replace it with the 5100 red bilstiens.
