Default 01 Taco Suspension Help

OK suspension experts, my wife bought a 2001 Double Cab V6 TRD PreRunner and the previous owner installed the Revtek kit with Tokico (blue) shocks in front and some unidentifiable shocks out back (all of which probably have 60k on them). The truck rides rough as hell and I need to find a solution for her. I used to have a 4Runner with the Revtek kit and swapped out the rear spacers for a set of OME coils. I used Rancho 5000 shocks all around (I know they aren't great but the combination of everything drove great). Anyhow, the Taco Revtek kit uses a 3" block in the rear which I have heard mixed things on their effect on ride quality. For shocks what do yall recommend for the most comfortable street ride (she is very rarely offroad), and would it be worth swapping in a set of rear leafs?? I was looking at the "comfort" OME front shocks and Bilstein 5100s out back.

Thanks for all your help, Billard

Do you still want lift or not? I had a 2001 tacoma with 2.5" spacers and a Downey AAL and the ride is significantly stiffer. If you want a plush ride, just remove the Revtek spacers and the block in the rear. Stock, I thought it rode like a caddy. The Tokico's are stock on the D-cab TRD. If you want to maintain the lift with a decent ride, try adjustable coilovers for the front or the OME 881 coils matched with the OME shock. The block in the rear will be the smoothest ride, other than a custom leafpack. Good luck.
