Default Reinforced suspension on 2004 Tundra...

Hi,

I own a 2004 4x4 Tundra EC. I have to haul my own water because I don't have a water well at home. I have a 200 gals tank in the bed of the truck which should weigh about 1600 lbs when full. Is there any ways to reinforce the suspension or to make it stiffer? I just don't like to ride with the suspension so close to bottoming out. Any suggestions or comments?

Thanks!!!

Guy

P.S.: I always cringe when I see those guys with light duty F150s rolling down the road with a 350 gals tank in the back!

Custom rear springs by Deaver or air bags.

I have hauled 2000 pounds of bottled water in both my old '96 4WD T100 and my current '02 4WD Tundra.

The best advise I can give is to spend $500 +/- and get a custom set of Alcans springs made for your truck that meet your specific needs.

Speak with Charlie @ Alcan - he will treat you right. Adding a Hellwig is also a very good thing to do...

i would honestly go with an air bag set up from firestone. there new bags are nice, and wont seperate like the old air ride ones will.
