Default BPV on an '05 DC 4x4

I'm about to add 10 leaf deaver replacement springs in the rear of my '05 DC 4x4. It's supposed to raise it up about 2 inches which will compensate for the Donahoe's I'm putting on the front .

My question is: won't I need to adjust the BPV after the lift? If so, has anyone done this and exactly where do I adjust it?

I've also heard that the bpv is electronic on the the '05 and not mechanical. I'm not sure if that's the case, but if so, is adjusting still necessary?

Thanks for any help.

With 2" of lift in the rear... more than likely... you will need to move the BPV.

Check THIS THREAD out. It's regarding the same question you have.

Hope this helps....

Dave, thanks for the reply; however I saw that thread and left a message in it before I started this one as nothing in that post specifically answer's my question. I'm hoping someone can describe exactly where to adjust my bpv.

I've gotten up under my truck and I see something coming up off the rear axle that I could adjust (it's a nut that I could turn and raise it, I'm hoping that's it), but there's also an assembely above the rear axel on the drivers side that looks like it could have some adjustment made to it.

Just a little lost I'm afraid, hoping someone can chime in and help.

Thanks again though! Great job on the lift btw..
