Default Daystar Coil Spacer Question

Ok, I got the 1.25 spacer that replaces the upper "coil isolator" and while I was installing them I started wondering, how long could this thing last? It is made out of poly-something and seems pretty stout, but I was looking at the factory isolator, which was rubbery-poly-something also, but looked beat to hell. Is this thing going to need to be replaced in a year? Just curious. The truck looks good with just the front spacer installed. It actually appears to be pretty level with nothing else added.

All kinds of mods, but it will never replace my Tundra in my heart! By the way, this truck SUCKS compared to Toyota.

Default Re: Daystar Coil Spacer Question

OEM is not polyurethane, just rubber.

the Daystar should be fine for a long time.
