Default donahoe ?

Just ordered donahoe w/ camburg uca's. Have a 4x4 Double Cab. Any problems w/ cranking donahoes to 2.5" w/ a diff. drop? Also will probably add a 1" block to rear. I have seen that Donahoe doesn't recommend over 2" on 4x4's.

I wouldn't do it. It really cranks the angles of the driveline, and you start stressing balljoints and parts. New UCAs will help, however.

At 2.5" lift with a diff drop the anlges of the half-shafts would be effectively 1.5". The UCAs have nothing to do with the front diff or the axle or the halfshafts. Only the diff drop and the lift do.

Donahoe, doesn't recommend it because they are not selling the diff drop with their kit. The diff drop takes away 1" of the lift that you will be putting on.

You won't have any issues.

what he said, but its about 1/2"...the spacers are 1" thick and install at the front of the diff. the output shafts are about halfway back on the diff.

Ok, thanks. It seems like there are a lot of people that have coilovers at 2.5 inches. I would think you would hear about more problems if it was an issue.

yeah donahoe says 2 inches is no problem, most would agree.

so setting them at 2.5 with the diff drop will have the same CV angles as if they were set at 2 inches with no diff drop.

should be fine
