Default How much is too much Diff Drop?

I was wondering how far I can drop my front differential. I have the Revtek Spacer kit on my truck right now, and I was wondering if I could drop my diff down any further, or would that put the front driveshaft universal joints in a bind?

i'm pretty sure the 1" spacer is all that will fit, the diff is almost resting on the crossmember with the spacer installed. iirc imdone mentioned his actually was resting on the crossmember...i have a couple millimeters to the crossmember on my truck.

I have only seen them in a 1" drop. They are easy to install. I can't see how you could get anything larger than 1" in the allowed space. I had to put spacers on my Skid Row skid plate so the crossmember wouldn't rest on it and cause vibration.

Yeah, when I had the stock stuff and I installed the diff drop I had to grind down the bottom part of the diff because the diff was touching the stock crossmember.
