I've gone ahead and ordered some HD's from shockwarehouse. How stiff can they be? They are what most peoples only Bilstein option is....aside from 5100/5300 racing shocks.
BTW, shockwarehouse.com has a free shipping over $95 and a special code of "ten" will get you %10 off. Not bad, they are on their way to me for all of $116. Much less hassle.

I wish you luck, I'll probably be off this board for a while.
OK thanks for the info.

No it's just the manufacturer (Bilstein) promotion ended 9/30. 5% forum discount still works and free shipping for orders of $95 in the US (excluding AK and HI).

Man after reading through allof this, I didn't see the answer i was looking for. What is the Spring Rate for the front coils off a 2Wd DC 05 truck with trd package. From what I was reading i have part #48510-Af130. But just want to know the spring rate. i have seen multiple threads saying they are #475 and then something crazy like #650 or #700. I can't seem to get a strit answer. Please help if can

4wheel parts is selling 5100's dor 299 for 4.. what's weird is if you buy the fronts and rears seperately it adds up to almost $360? about 100 each for fronts and 80 for the rears. my question is, what are the 4600's? are those the same as the trd package bilsteins?they are selling for 249 a set of 4. thanks in advance for any help.

I'm rather confused here, so has anyone experienced or read that the 5100 series are too stiff for normal highway cruising? What's the difference between the 5100 series and the 4600 series?

My OEM's are worn out so I'm looking for an upgrade, but I never see the off-road scene or much cornering action, so a decent super slab ride is appreciated.

Thanks for any input
