Suspension & AxleTechnical discussions regarding alignment, stock and modified suspensions, lift kits, axles, hub conversions, gearing and steering.
This is a discussion thread titled "Toytec vs Revtek Lift", within the Suspension & Axle forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Is The Toytec 3" lift really higher than the Revtek 2.5" lift? According to the pictures I see, they both look the same. I wanna order my lift right away but not sure on which to buy. What would you recommend?
if the spacer attaches over the coilover assembly, get a uniball upper ball joint or limit straps to protect the upper ball joint. if it attaches between the coil and the top of the coilover assembly and requires a spring compressor for installation, you dont need limit straps or uniballs, but limit straps are nice because they will keep the suspension from extending out hard and potentially blowing the seals.
thats good. theres a little angle left in the upper ball joint, a thin spacer on top takes advantage of it so youll get more travel on the front end plus higher ride height.
