Default Finally got the Deavers put on....

all i gotta say is the Donahoe up front + Deaver/Bilstien out back = NICE.

to anyone thinking of doing it - i would highly recommend it. I can't even compare the difference to the TRD crap.

also - i had Deaver add 2 extra leafs for added load carrying ability.

mitchinphx,

I'm glad you like your setup! I'm currently in the market for some Deavers, and e-mailed Scott @ Deaver yesterday with some questions about what springs would suit me best? He responded with the Deaver 11 Pack... What did you end up going with? Did you add some lift? And finally, what noticeable ride characteristics did the Deavers change (smoother, more responsive, firmer, or softer)?

Enjoy your setup,

desert_tundra

given that he recommended the 11 pack i'm guessing you had some load concerns you mentioned to him. typically they are a 10 pack. Mine are 12 pack due to the fact that at all times i will be carrying approx. 400lbs w/ my gear & topper.

these springs only provide approx 1" of lift... mine w/ the additional 2 leafs totaled about 1.25".

the ride is incredibly better. there's really no comparing. I also have the 5100's. with the stock springs the rear of the Tundra doesn't track for sheit on washboard, etc. now it stays straight and true for the most part and you will notice the activeness and progressiveness of these springs that the stock trd crap is missing.
