Unhappy SkyJacker 3" Suspension Lift Kit

I just put on a SkyJacker 3" suspension lift on my 2004 Toyota Tundra 4X4. Now that it is on, My knuckle bangs on the Coils every time i hit the slightest bump. The angle seems too steep. Also my axle is throwing grease close to where the rubber boot is at. When i called SkyJacker they told me to get it aligned and that would stop the rubbing, but when i when I went to get it aligned three different places told me that an alignment would not help with the rubbing. I couldn't actually get it aligned yet because i now have a bad outer tie rod. It is loose within the pressed fitting. Any suggetions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. As you can probably see I am a novice at this and this is my first suspension lift. Any way to stop the grease from slinging out? Is this the CV where the grease is coming out? How can i keep the knuckle from hitting the coil?

Thanks

Get a front differential drop spacer from Off Road Warehouse or I think Wheeler's Off Road sells them too. this will get your axles better aligned from the diff to the hub.

Then about the rubbing of the Upper Control Arm with the coilspring, the only thing you can do is get rid of the 3" lift or get a set of Camburg or Total Chaos Upper Control Arms from either of the two stores listed above. These relocate the top of the steering knuckle out farther to allow a better alignment of the camber, caster and toe. They also provide an additional 1" of up and down travel.

2" - 2.5" is max for these trucks before you get to start spending some serious coin. once you go to 3" you need to get the others things too.

I'm not sure which of us you are talking to. For my lift check my signature. Click on the blue links and you can see all the goods. If you were talking to the other guy, then nevermind...

I've also install the SkyJacker lift. I've got the diff drop and the knuckle still hits the springs. The only way to get around this is new Upper Control Arms. I am probably going to go with the Total Chaos ones.

funny, rockymountain says it fits up to 06 but the skyjacker website says only to 04. That would be nice but I have an 06.
