Not uncommon. I groaned to my dealer a few years ago. They blamed it on the battery and gas tank being on the left side. Phoned Toyota's customer service folks. They stated the same and advised unless it was more than 1 1/2"'s or something, can't remember now, that they wouldn't do anything about it. Some adjustable coilovers addressed the problem from the front...

I've got the same problem. It couldn't be because 99% of the driving is done by me and I weigh 252 pounds?

It's normal for the driver's side to be lower because the battery, gas tank, driver are all on that same side. But an inch does sound like a lot, mine is about 1/2" lower. Remember a full vs. empty gas tank makes a difference too.

I actually noticed it while it was parked in my driveway, looking at it from the rear. Thanks for all the help.

You would think that since the drivers seat is the one seat that is always used when the truck is driven and probably the others are empty, they would place the battery and gas tank on the right side of the truck to balance out the weight of the driver. At least place the battery on one side and the gas tank on the other.

I remember a teacher in high school who had a very big wife. She drove a small car and one day we saw her drive across the school parking lot. The car had a extremely noticeable lean toward the drivers side, probably 4-6 inches.
