Default capable and smooth-is it possible?

Alright, I got my 07 tacoma trd off road in october and im ready to lift er up a few inches, i know a guy who had a 05 taco with a three in lift and he sold it because it was beating him to death going down the road, he said i need to go straight for the 6 in because the 3 is too rough,
Now for the question, is there any way i can get a good strong, capable, and dependable 3 in lift for my 07 taco and still have close to the factory smooth ride?

Properly valved coilovers with the right spring rate should keep the ride stock-like and give you somewhere around 2.5" of lift. Donahoe and Camburg both make excellent coilovers. I believe there are many other companies that can get you what your looking for though, such as: King, Race-Runner, Fox, and Bilstein.

Hey thanks for the help man, now how do the coilovers work, are they a part of a lift kit or do they do the actual lifting by them selves, im wanting to have the level effect so what would i need to do to achieve that?

The coilovers are adustable and are all you need to lift the front end; you can set them to level out the front end of your truck or lift the front end slightly higher. They will keep your ride smooth and functional.
