TacomaGeneral discussion forum for the 2005 and later Toyota Tacoma.
This is a discussion thread titled "Black Halo LED Projector Headlights", within the Tacoma forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I'm thinking about getting these, and I was wondering if anyone has bought these on here and has pictures of them on their truck. If you do, please post pictures. It would be greatly appreciated. This is what they look like.
Do yourself a favor and don't buy these lights. I had a friend buy headlights just like these for his car and he regrets it. They are way too dim, and he has to drive around with his highbeams on just to see the road. I'd suggest doing the black headlight mod, and throw some HID's in there if you're looking for the all black look.
Yah like Lelandstanford said, I do have these lights, and I love them! You do have to do a little wire splicing, but all in all installation takes about an hour and a half if you have any experience with electrical work. They are definitely not too dim, I don't know who told you that, but they are just as bright if not brighter than the stock lights. Especially if you put high intensity LED's in them. Everyone comes up to me and asks about them, they seem to be a pretty big hit, and I think they look a million times better than all that chrome on the stock lights. I was going to do the black headlight mod, but there is still a lot of chrome in the reflective honeycomb part of the stock light, but these look great on a black sand pearl Tacoma. I would put up some pictures but I still don't have my digital camera. Shouldn't be much longer though. I'll keep you informed. Hope I helped.

Anyone have picture of these actually installed on a Tacoma?
I can't see these look good on any truck? But I might be wrong! So I would like to see pictures.
I think they would look too busy, too blingy. Whats up with the 3 little lights? One thing, I think they just have too many different sized and shaped lights to really look attractive. Perhaps they get rid of the skinny light and the 3 leds, do some redesigning it would look better.

Why don't you put a triple spoiler and dual coffee can mufflers on your truck while you are at it?

These headlights remind me of this chick off the Devo whip it video. Totally over the top crazy looking, headlights seriously look like a cross eyed oriental woman. Put the pictures next to each other, it's disturbing!
