Unhappy Clutch Clicking?

I have a 6 Speed, 4X4 and I was wondering if anyone else's clutch clicks when you engage and disengage it somewhat swiftly. I can either be completely stopped or driving slowly and I can hear it click. It's not really loud but it's consistent and always there. I have read a lot of people's clutch chattering and mine does NOT do that but it clicks and sounds like its coming from the transmission. Little hesistant to take it to the dealer because I'd rather not have them slap me with the "O that's normal we'll take money for diagnosis though". I've driven tons of other mt cars and never heard a click when engaging and disengaging before. Did something come loose? I only have 5600 miles on the truck.

Thanks.

Default Re: Clutch Clicking?

Going from driving only manual trans sedans I never heard any sort of clicking noise. I did notice that the clutch on my truck is a lot different sounding when I shift. If I push the pedal in really fast it sounds like something is going (I'll try my best to describe it...) "CLICK CLACK clack clack" as though something is bouncing back and forth.

I think this is normal for larger vehicles because my buddies jeep does the same thing, but I am not sure.
