Re: *PICTURES* Black Halo LED Projector Headlights *PICTURES*
aight here is something to take the load off the cross eyed headlights...they look okay just need tires to stick out further to make em look right, anyways, okay so here i am in hawaii i bring my truck i bought in indiana, it has the bridgestone dueler HT's on it, so i take em off road at kaena point once, not even all the way in just the mud hole with the leaky water pipe and back. So ever since then my tires have basically peeled off and disengrated, is there something in the mud that does it? i have bene back one time before with another truck that had em and they did the same thing. Does anyone know if this is a tire problem? or is it something that i should prolly drive my truck through the firestone dealers window? someone lemme know if they have had the same problem as me with these ****ers, and all i have seen the blue yota on here with the lift, bad *** truck...kinda jealous actually
Re: *PICTURES* Black Halo LED Projector Headlights *PICTURES*
You should take them back to bridgestone and file a complaint. If they brush you off look into KHON tv2 /new here on Oahu. "ActionLine" call them and you'll have a new set in no time!

Re: *PICTURES* Black Halo LED Projector Headlights *PICTURES*
the lights look better than i thought, but i think you'd only get away with them on a black truck.... they'd be a ton better with eyebrows, and in that case they may look good on any color with eyebrows.
Re: *PICTURES* Black Halo LED Projector Headlights *PICTURES*
Well Lotust, those pictures were taken while my truck was still under construction. As you can see, I was in the process of installing everything. This is what my truck looks like now.

Truck looks really good. I like it. But about the headlights: how about a straight on shot? Only that will tell if it still looks cross eyed. I doubt that the lift changed that appearance.
Re: *PICTURES* Black Halo LED Projector Headlights *PICTURES*
wow...i think that should shut everyone up who was talking sh!t about your truck
you know, all these pictures are really making my stock turd taco look a little sad... if only i had the money, its too bad i already sold my soul and then some just to get my truck in the first place
Re: *PICTURES* Black Halo LED Projector Headlights *PICTURES*
Haha, yah I too sold my soul to get my truck, to good ol Uncle Sam! I saved up during a year I was stationed in South Korea to put a good sized down payment on my truck. Now that I am an officer I have been able to pay it off completely and afford to turn it into the truck I have always dreamed about.
Yah a lot of people were talking a good deal of sh!t about it, but they are the ones driving stock trucks that look the exact same as the Tacoma they pull up next to at a stoplight. There is nothing wrong with stock trucks, I just like having something a little different.
This is about as straight on of a picture that I have on my computer.

Re: *PICTURES* Black Halo LED Projector Headlights *PICTURES*
Well, I think your truck looks awesome.
That said, and after the head on pics you posted, I personally would have skipped that mod. But, as you said also, I am driving a pretty much stock Taco.
And to add to my rant: congrats on paying off that thing. It's a great feeling, isn't it? Heck, it really bis YOUR truck now!
Something to be proud of, even if not all of us agree all the time!

I've got a stock '07 Sport and like it a lot just the way it is, but I really like the look of your truck too. The black on black with very little chrome showing look seems very fitting, even down to your wheels. And even those headlights kind of catch your eye. I don't think I'll manage to pry the $$$ out of my own wallet for them but I do think they look good.
As far as those talking crap about your truck, some of it may reflect their honest opinions, but most of it is just responding to your initial post where you basically said, "I've got a really thin skin and I'm likely to throw a temper tantrum if even one bad word is said about my baby." Few can resist the fun of lobbing a grenade when you just KNOW the secondary explosion will be 3 times the initial explosion. As an officer and leader of men, you DO understand a little about human nature, right???
