TacomaGeneral discussion forum for the 2005 and later Toyota Tacoma.
This is a discussion thread titled "OEM or Husky All Weather Mats?", within the Tacoma forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Which ones should I buy? Tell me about your choice and why you made it. Thanks, TJ
I know this isn't on your list, but WeatherTech floorliners are what I got. They didn't make the rear ones for the DoubleCab, but alot of us here on the Tacoma forum wrote requesting they make them and the did! I got them because they laser map the measurements and they fit like a glove. The gray color is spot on for the gray Taco interior too.

I have had Husky floorliners in my '95 Grand Cherokee since I bought it new. Durable, but I got tired of their appearance.
I got Toyota all-weather mats for the Tacoma, and like them a lot -- except for the stuff that lands on the carpet, beyond the edges of the mats.
If I had it to do again, I would get Weathertech floorliners.
And for a contrary opinion, I've had two sets of WeatherTech floorliners for my Tacoma and both sets have fit very poorly. I sent pics to WeatherTech of the poor fit of the first set and they sent me a second set under warranty but they're no better. The mats are an inch or more too narrow and since they don't have nibs on the bottom they slide around on the carpet. For some reason other folks seem to like the fit so I can't explain the diff but both WeatherTech and AutoAnything swear I have the right part number mats for an 07 Access Cab.
This is a tough one, still going to wait for some additional imput. Those weathertechs look good, but they have shameless advertising on them. I'm debadged and even removed those babies dying on my sun visors. I can see why you might get tired of looking at the huskys. And really wondering if I need total protection from a liner versus a mat, now that I have the truck I've always wanted, I dont use it exactly like I used too.
Thanks for the advice guys, I will post with my decision within a few days.

I know they have the shameless advertising, but the weathertechs already saved the carpet once in my truck. The idiot at the oil change place put the remainder of a quart on my floorboard (where I asked him to), but I expected he would put the lid on all the way first. I was more mad at the waste of synth oil than anything else. It was all well contained.

Those logos are exactly like the badges on your truck, double side foam adhesive tape. They come off no problem with fishing line.

Thanks for the input guys, I'm going weathertech. Think the black looks better than the grey (personal preference). The pictures made all the difference! Thanks!
P.S. Green Moutain Man if these things dont fit I wont bitch, you warned me.

They seem to fit great when new but after a couple of months they shrink or sag or ???? Every time I get in the truck I have to kick the mat to the side to line it up. Anyway, hope you like 'em and don't have the fit problems. Most people either don't have problems, or don't mind or notice. Hope yours work out well. Other than the fit I really like 'em.
