TacomaGeneral discussion forum for the 2005 and later Toyota Tacoma.
This is a discussion thread titled "07' Taco 2.25" Level Kit/Nav -Pictures-", within the Tacoma forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Whats up guys.
Just installed a 2 1/4" leveling kit on my 07' Tacoma and I'm pretty happy with it. I also included some pictures of the D3 nav and my IPOD setup.
Everything looks good to me except the wheels. Don't look like truck wheels / tires to me. If anything, these wheels want the vehicle to be lowered.
But the good thing is: it's all a matter of taste. If you like it, it's great!
The tires appear to be a low profile tire, which indicates lowering... You need more rubber showing when you put in a lift kit to complete this package properly... But hey, to each their own I guess.. If you like it, that's all that matters...

Yeah I know what you guys are sayin. Exactly why I only got the leveling kit.
Unfortunately I purchased the tires before the kit and those were the largest tires I could get without rubbing. I wasn't about to spend another $1000 on tires when I just bought those 2 months ago.
Don't worry, Ill be getting bigger tires the next go round.
