Default 3" Toytec vs. 6" Fabtech? Need some opinions :)

I'm currently running Toytec's 3" lift (blocks in the back coil spacers in the front). The problem I'm having is it's made my suspension really stiff. I can barely drive on a washboard road and just about dislocate my neck everytime I go over a speedbump. What I was wondering is do you think getting Fabtech's 6" kit w/new coilovers will solve this Issue?

I know it requires cutting the crossmember, I know it costs about $2300 and I'm ok with that.

if all you'd like to do is soften up your ride, I'd suggest replacing the front OEM shock/spacer setup you have now for some Donahoe coilovers which will run you around $1000.00... Your saving $1300.00 that way if not more (considering you want coilovers) and the fabtech is going to give you the same ride feel in the rear ie. block in the back like you currently have now... I'd suggest going with donahoe's up front, and if you really wanna blow all your money getting say a 10 pack deaver leaf setup for the rear which would eliminate your block and soften up the ride a bunch...

just my 2 cents

I'm getting the FabTech performance kit with the D/L rear shocks. They entire thing will cost me $5K because I can't use my 16" wheels.
So I'm up grading to 35" tires and bigger rims.
So if you have the funds? I'd go for it!

But don't think it will cost only $2300.

Ya, I'd say scrap the Fabtech idea. Definately go with some adj. coilovers like the Donahoes, or the Sway-a-ways. The SAWs a prob. the better way to go. They are the same as the donahoes but are made in house and so dont cost as much. If your wanting to save money get an add-a-leaf for the rear and get rid of the blocks. Or spend a little more and get some good leafs! wheelers offroad has good prices on that stuff. I know a guy with the Fabtech lift and its ok but its just way too expensive for what you get. at that point you might as well do a solid-axle swap kit.

Already ordered the kit.... Didn't realize I have to get new rims tho, just bought new ones about a year ago with some 33" toyo M/T. Guess I'll be selling those, LOL. Or maybe I'll just trade my truck in for a double cab and put the kit in that w/new rims n tires... Anyone got any suggestions for a mean looking A/T tire?
