Yeah there's a little trick you can do when you replace your CV Boots.
When you install the new ones? Slide then outwards about 3/4" before you clamp them down. Use a drop of Super glue, so they don't slide back!
That should keep your boots from blowing out.
If you have the chance? I'd like to see pictures of your front end.
Thanks!

Well he has both sides torn but it's odd because I don't see any sign of grease?
As long as you can move it out enough that the fins don't rub against each other, they should be fine.
As you can see the procomp drops the differential lower than the Fabtech.
So he has a better chance!
Hey? "GotLift37" if you want I can show you a tip to make changing the boots really easy. LMK?
I figured out a better way to remove the tripod bearing.

Here's the PDF on how to replace the CV Boots.
http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/05+/data/...06ta/03600.pdf
You'll see that it recommends using a drift punch to remove the tripod bearing. (I try never to use a hammer)
Here is how I removed to tripod bearing.

Re: Lets see some picks of your Lifted Tacoma
Thank you. Whenever I had my car and broke an axle on the track I would just put a new one in on the spot (always brought extras) lol. 30 minutes at most I became a pro at it lol. Im not all about rebuilding them and what not, but axles for the tacoma are a bit more expensive. I will let ya'll know how it goes. Maybe post step by step pics.

Ya know.. that is pretty weird. There's usually a ton of grease inside
