Worked a deal on a new 2008 4x4 DoubleCab TRD Sport in Indigo Ink.

I won't be taking delivery until June 2 but I'm excited none the less.

Well no more paperwork left to do heh.

It's taking some getting used to driving around an automatic. Pushing down on the e-brake is really tempting when coming to a stop lol.

It's 6'2"... possibly 6.5+ with the tailgate down.

I would have looked at a Taco a lot harder if I could get the 6MT + V6 + Double Cab + 4x4 + long bed....

I couldn't so I figured I'd rather have the Tundra if I had to live w/ an AT.

The AT was what I wanted most and I love it.

My S2000 has a racing clutch and it was torture in stop and go...

Indigo Ink is a great color to get now because I believe it's discontinued for '09.

Im going to try VERY hard not to do anything to it for at least a year or so.

With my expensive track and autox habit the S2000 costs me more than enough...

ya thats right... I was contemplating an 09 with the dark silver but I would have had to wait too long for it.

Nice truck, and you probably did alot better $-wise getting an 08 instead of waiting for an 09.

I would recommend one thing by winter...Tires. I think you get a bit of lake effect your way. Whether better quality A/T's or running snowies on steelies for winter, it'll be one of the smartest things you can do. Trd Sport's wide 17's and garbage B grade stock tires are terrible on snow/ice.

The tires are for sure coming off. For the moment they're fine before the winter.

but pre-winter I'm thinking about the General Grabber AT 2.
