Daytime Running Lights Keeps Burning Out

My '05 Taco DRL on the passenger side recently burned out so I replace it with a new bulb which worked all the way home from the autoparts store. When I started my Taco this morning the bulb was out again. I can tell the filament is burned out like the first one because my signal ticker beats twice as fast. Anybody know what the problem is? Electrical short, perhaps?

Look at your center contact point(where the bulb go) and see if its clean and shiny or black with maybe a shoot like material.If its not clean get some sand paper(fine grade) or an ink eraser and clean the contact point until its shiny.The shoot material will cause resistance and overheating and cause the bulb to prematurely burn out.
