1996 Toyota Tacamo 4 cyl starting problms when warm

1996 toyota tacoma 2.4 liter 4 cylinder. After driving a while during warm weather and I shut it down. It wont start unless I pop the hood and let the air hit it for a few min...it cranks but wont start. This only happens during warm weather. I dont know if this was just coincidence but if I step on both the clutch and the gas and start it..it will start...sometimes...
