Default Taking off Spacers Lift!

I'm taking off my current Toytec 2.5" coilover spacers which I have owned for +-2 or 2.5 months now. Im going for Bilsteins 5100 or coilovers... Anyways, my question: When I take off my coilover spacer will the suspension be all loose because of the springs used to the compression? If I go with Bilstein 5100's (cheaper than coilovers) will Springs be all loose also? Thanks!

If you go with the 5100's your ride should be a little more firm, not stiff, but firm because your replacing the old stock strut with a new one.. I did the same thing as you,but I had my 3inch spacers on for about a year before going with the 5100's a top notch. The ride is alot better with the 5100's. Being that you only had the spacers on for a short time your springs should be just fine. Good luck.

5100s lift the same way that in-strut spacers, such as Toytec or Daystars, do. They compress the spring. So if you have a 2.5" spacer lift and you go to 5100s set at 2.5", your springs should be compressed roughly the same amount and should feel the same. But since you'll be going from an OEM shock (even the TRD Bilsteins are OEM-quality) to a better-quality one, your ride will improve.
