Default Aftermarket Rims

Another question please.... I thinking of changing my rims to an aftermarket style. How will this effect the tire pressure sensors?? can you just reuse them on the new rims? will they fit??
thanks

Default Re: Aftermarket Rims

what type do you haver now, and getting?

steel to alloy probably not
but steel to steel should work

some alloy to alloy work

talk to your rim people first !!!!!
to get another set is expensive and then usually a trip to the dealer for him to authorize the codes
about the only other safe way is the "black tape mod"

put black tape over the light and check your tires ;-D

and remember you have 5 sensors ! ( spare)
