I just read in the lastest Motortrend Mag. that Ford is building a replacement for the current Ford Ranger pick-up after not making any changes to it for over 10 years. Ford is actually working on 2 trucks smaller than the F-150. The new truck which is currently being called the T-6 will arrive for the 2010-2011 model year. It doesn't look bad in the picture.

I remember reading a couple years ago that Ford was considering discontinuing the Ranger due to slow sales. Funny how things change now that gas has hit $4.00 a gallon.

I don't like it and I've owned many Fords, including a couple of Rangers.

From that picture, it kinda looks like a Nissan Frontier. I drive a Ford at work and while it does okay most of the time, I will never waste my hard earned money on a Ford.

I've owned one ford...never again. Talk about a lot of problems that they could never fix! Who likes to smell gas fumes while driving? Who wants to listen to those odd exhaust knocking sounds? Then the dealership saying "We don't know what to do...call Ford!" My father-in-law always buys fords...and deals with the many electrical/engine/other problems. He even bought a Ranger once and had loads of transmission problems (as he's had with his Exploders).

I'll stick with Toyota.

My Family has had Fords and none of them where any less problem free than any of our Toyotas.
