Default Re: 09' Backup Camera...Sweet!

Has anyone looked into wiring in another video signal to the backup camera? I would like to play DVD's for the passenger on long trips and enjoy some recorded TV during lunch breaks. Laptop input or portable DVD player is fine.

.
I have a 2009 Taco with the rear tailgate cam. It is more of a "hitch camera" (aimed at hitch area). I saw on another forum where a guy mounted a good "wired cam" and had a much bigger and better image than mine has in the mirror.

I had a 2007 tundra and was always upset that I could not see behind me ... so I got this and it is better ... but there are better aftermarket cams and monitors.

SOS

PS ... I just read more of this thread and saw where another guy who has this cam does NOT like the "fish-eye" image ... and I AGREE.
The image on the good quality aftermarket cam/monitor can give much better "straight back" images. Mine is a ... "downward fish-eye trailer hitch cam".
