Off Roading w/ Hellwigs
Anyone do any mild off roading, large ditches, over rocks maybe a foot high at the most....here and there? I don't "wheel" this, but do a lot of camping and forest road exploring that lends itself to a lot of twisting and flexing.
My question is............have any of you had any rubbing issues w/ the hellwigs? Especially on the gas tank side, taco 07.....The front hellwig, drivers side, front part of the front hellwig. I flexed the hell out of this and the u-bolt flat piece, the piece that would be flush again the bottom of the leaf, to hold the hellwig in place, ( for mounting the hellwig to the leaf) pushed up (b/c of the flex obviously) and rubbed the tank.........the plastic tank. I hope that's clear enough.
I moved it, slid that flat piece away from the tank as close to the outside/tire as i could. I guess if this repeats I'll remove that 1 half of the hellwig and throw it far from the truck.
Anyone have any feedback. Suggests.......same experiences, issues? Please? Thx!
